Hwange Community Information Centre Officially launched

The Minister of Information Communication Technology (ICT), Postal and Courier Services Hon. Dr. JenFan Muswere officially opened the Hwange Community Information Centre on 27 August 2020. The Official Opening Ceremony was held at Hwange Post Office where the Honourable Minister was represented by the Deputy Minister, Honourable Dingimuzi Phuti. The Community Information Centre (CIC) is a one stop ICT shop which offers the following services:

The setting up of the CICs is meant to bridge the digital divide between the urban and the rural communities as most people in cities will have access to computers whilst the majority in the rural areas have limited access to the available technology.
